She was the daughter of Johanna Catharina or Anna Catharina Schuster and Johann Lorenz Bender christened in Kallstadt 10 Feb 1839. He was the son of Gertraud Harm and Jacob Michel born 15 Apr 1837 and christened in Freinsheim 19 Apr 1837.

Anna Maria and Reichard had five children, all christened in Freinsheim:

Juliana christened 04 Dec 1863;
Jacob christened 02 Nov 1865;
Reichard born 09 Jun 1871, christened 29 Jun 1871;
Friedrich born 12 Feb 1873, christened 05 Mar 1873; and
Heinrich born 03 Jan 1875, christened 03 Feb 1875.
