Maria Catharina Reck and Georg Weilbrenner

Maria Catharina Reck and Georg Weilbrenner married in Freinsheim in April 1776. Maria Catharina was the daughter of Anna Maria Seltzer and Johann Jacob Reck born 20 Oct 1753 and christened in Freinsheim 21 Oct 1753.

The marriage record doesn't list Georg's father's name. I've found two likely possibilities for him: Johann Georg, the son of Catharina Elisabetha Werner and Johann Peter Weilbrenner born 08 Jul 1752 and christened in Freinsheim 11 Jul 1752, and another Johann Georg, the son of Maria Catharina and Georg Daniel Weilbrenner born 31 May 1745 and christened in Freinsheim 04 Jun 1745.

The records are a bit confusing because Maria Catharina Reck and Georg Weilbrenner were contemporaneous with another couple, Maria Catharina Mueller and Georg Peter Weilbrenner. I've made the assumption that records in which the father's name is given as Georg or Johann Georg refer to Maria Catharina Reck's husband. Given this assumption, Maria Catharina Reck and Georg Weilbrenner had seven children christened in Freinsheim:

As you can see, we're coming up on the records gap. If Anna Maria had married Johannes Koob in Freinsheim instead of in Weisenheim am Sand, I wouldn't have been to find a record of the marriage.

Johann Jacob born 1777 is one of two possibilities for the Jacob Weilbrenner who married Eva Catharina Weilbrenner during the records gap.

Heinrich born 1789 is almost certainly the Heinrich Weilbrenner who married Agnesia Schick in Weisenheim am Sand 22 Sep 1812.
