"Immigrants: we get the job done" -- Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton

Sibilla Behringer and Johannes Weilbrenner

Sibilla Behringer or Böhringer and Johannes Weilbrenner apparently married sometime before 1820. They had four children that I know of, of whom three were definitely christened in Freinsheim:

I can't find records of Sibilla and Johannes having children christened anywhere else in the ten-year gap between Wilhelm and Jacob.

The younger Johannes married Elisabetha Hehlinger in Freinsheim 01 Oct 1846. The couple immigrated to the States with their first child sometime between November 1846 and 1853 or 1854. They settled in Union Township, Iowa, 72 km west of Burlington.

Heinrich married Catharina Sohn in Freinsheim 18 Mar 1847. They and their four sons immigrated to the States in 1857 and settled in Baltimore, Maryland.

Wilhelm emigrated from Freinsheim in 1854, arriving in NYC aboard the SS New York out of Le Havre on 21 Nov 1854. He settled in Burlington, Iowa, where he worked as a tailor. He never married. He died 01 Dec 1905 and is buried in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington.

I couldn't find any further information on Jacob or on his parents, Sibilla and Johannes.
