Elisabetha Huck and David Walz

Elisabetha Huck and David Walz married in Freinsheim 14 Aug 1838. David was the son of Maria Christina Zapff and Mathias Walz christened in Iggelheim 25 Jun 1795. His family moved to Freinsheim sometime between his christening and November 1797.

Elisabetha seems to have been born sometime between 1813 (based on the birth of her last child) and 1820. She may or may not be the daughter of Magdalena Orth and Christian "Huk" christened in Freinsheim 07 Mar 1817.

Elisabetha and David had seven children, all christened in Freinsheim. One died at the age of eight:

• Catharina christened 01 Sep 1839;
• Christian christened 21 Aug 1841;
• Susanna christened 17 Sep 1843. Died and was buried in Freinsheim 28 Dec 1851;
• Reichardt christened 07 Dec 1845;
• Charlotta christened 28 Apr 1850;
• Heinrich christened 31 Oct 1852; and
• Jacob christened 16 Jan 1863. Note the nine-year gap!

I have no further information on any member of this family except Christian.

Katharina Lind and Christian Walz

Katharina Lind and Christian Walz married sometime in or before 1871. Walz wasn't a common name in Freinsheim, and Christian was almost certainly the son of Elisabetha Huck and David Walz born 1841. Lind was an all-too-common name in Freinsheim, so I don't have any definitely information on Catharina's family.

Katharina and Christian had three children, all christened in Freinsheim:

• Johannes born 09 Oct 1871, christened 18 Oct 1871;
• David born 30 Dec 1872, christened 15 Jan 1873; and
• Friedrich born 13 Nov 1874, christened 02 Dec 1874.
