Maria Catharina Lonnerd and Johannes Reichert Engel

Johannes Reichert Engel, son of Anna Clara Oberliesin and Johann Jacob Engel, was christened in Dackenheim 11 Apr 1737. On 10 Jan 1764 he married Maria Catharina Lonnerd, daughter of Valentin Lonnerd, in Dackenheim. I don't have any further information as to Maria Catharina's birth and am not sure that Lonnerd is an accurate transciption of her name. In one of the two transcriptions I have it's given as "Lo..."

Maria Catharina and Johannes Reichert had five children:

• Sibilla Magdalena christened 27 Mar 1764;
• Maria Elisabetha christened 28 Jul 1765. Died and was buried in Dackenheim 10 Jul 1768;
• Dorothea christened 02 Jul 1768. Died and was buried in Dackenheim 22 Jan 1769;
• Johann Bernhardt christened 10 May 1773; and
• Catharina christened 30 Mar 1777.

I have a burial record for a Sibilla Magdalena Engel, daughter of Johann Reichart Engel, but it's dated 30 Sep 1763, six months before "our" Sibilla Magdalena was born.

I also have a burial record for a Catharina Eleonora Engel, daughter of Reichert Engel, dated for 24 Mar 1780. This may be Catharina born 1777 or, if the father's name is given incorrectly, it may be her cousin Catharina Eleonora born 1770. It's less likely to be her aunt Catharina Leonora born 1738.

Johannes Reichert may or may not be the Johann Reichart Engel who died and was buried in Dackenheim 20 Sep 1778.

I have no furhter information on Maria Catharina Lonnerd or Johann Bernhardt Engel.
