Philippina Düssel and Jacob Sohn

Jacob Sohn was the son of Christina Retzer and Johann Georg Sohn christened in Freinsheim 06 May 1816. On 28 Jun 1849 he married Philippina Düssel, the daughter of Catharina Winter and Jakob Düssel. I can't find a birth record for Philippina, which may indicate that she was born before the records gap ended in January 1816. However, this would make her at least 52 years old at the birth of her last child.

Philippina and Jacob had nine children. During the period 1855-1867, they were the only couple having children in Freinsheim under the name Sohn:

• Anna Christina christened 26 Dec 1849;
• Catharina christened 22 Jul 1851;
• Jacob christened 08 May 1853;
• Louise christened 03 Feb 1856;
• Georg christened 27 Dec 1857;
• Philippina christened 19 Oct 1859;
• Conrad christened 06 Feb 1861;
• Elisabetha christened 22 Oct 1865; and
• Margaretha christened 03 Mar 1867.

I have no further information on Philippina or on any of her children. I may or may not have further information on her husband Jacob. Philippina's last child born was in February or March 1867. On 21 Jun 1868 a couple named Barbara Mayer and Jacob Sohn christened their older daughter, Anna Christina. It's possible that Philippina had died and Jacob had remarried. However, there's also another candidate for the Jacob Sohn who married Barbara Mayer. I don't have a death record for Philippina, but in fact I don't have any death records at all for Freinsheim after January 1865.
