Anna Maria Hoeltinger and Matthias Sohn

Matthias Sohn was the son of Anna Christina Neunzehnhöltzer and Johann Jacob Sohn born 03 Aug 1746 and christened 07 Aug 1746 in Freinsheim. On 19 Nov 1782 he married Anna Maria Hoeltinger in Freinsheim. Anna Maria was the daughter of Jacob Hoeltinger, but I have no other information about her family.

Anna Maria and Matthias had six children that I know of:

• Susanna Philippina born 03 Sep 1783, christened 04 Sep 1783;
• Ludwig born 14 Sep 1784, christened 16 Sep 1784;
• Jacob born 22 Jul 1787, christened the same day;
• Christina Elisabetha born 07 Apr 1789, christened 10 Apr 1789;
• Christoph Daniel born 23 Jun 1792, christened 24 Jun 1792; and
• Maria Catharina born 19 Jun 1795, christened 21 Jun 1795. Possibly the Catharina Sohn who married Adam Zuspann in Freinsheim 03 Mar 1816. They had seven children, although two died young.

There may have been other children born in the records gap between October 1798 and December 1815.

Matthias was one of the two fathers who had children christened under the name Sohn in Freinsheim between 1764 and 1798, the other being Peter Sohn.
