The Messinger Family of Freinsheim

I found five sets of records relating to Messingers (or Moessingers) in Freinsheim in the early 18th century:

There's one other couple who had children christened in Freinsheim under the name Messinger during the period 1698-1758. Johannes Messinger married Anna Maria Ehrhardt in Freinsheim 28 Nov 1747. This is two years after the birth of Maria Elisabetha Hohl and Johannes Messinger's ninth child, so it's possible that Maria Elisabetha had died and Johannes remarried.

Anna Maria and Johannes had two children, Anna Catharina born 03 Sep 1748, christened 08 Sep 1748, and Johann Wendel born 09 May 1750, christened 10 May 1750. Johann Wendel married Catarina Margareta in Freinsheim in January 1771. I don't have a record of the bride's last name or of any children born to this couple. Anna Catharina is the most likely candidate for the "Catarina Mossinger" who married Johann Peter Wigand, son of Adam Wigand, in Freinsheim in April 1775. She would have been 27 years old at the time, while the groom was 26. This makes the daughters of Maria Elisabetha Hohl and Johannes Messinger born in 1734 and 1741 much less likely candidates.
