The Hohl Family of Freinsheim

All of the people with the last name Hohl who were or might have been christened in Freinsheim before 1720 were the children of Wilhelm Hohl or Wilhelm Ludwig Hohl. For two christenings in 1717 and 1719, the mother's name is given as Maria Margaretha:

Note that in three cases, the connection between the christening and marriage records depends on Wilhelm Hohl and Wilhelm Ludwig Hohl being the same person. If they're not the same person, then instead of seven people, two without christening records, we have ten people, five without christening records.

Maria Margaretha may have been married to Wilhelm all along or she may have married him sometime before 1717, after his previous wife died.

There are no records of children born to Peter Hohl and Philippina Wigand. If she died shortly after the marriage, it's not impossible that he was the same person as the Johann Peter Hohl who married Anna Elisabetha Krether not quite a year later.

After the christening of Anna Catharina Hohl in 1719, the next period when children are being christened in Freinsheim under the last name Hohl is 1741-1760. All of these children were born to one of two couples, Johann Peter and Anna Elisabetha Hohl (1741-1760) and Johann Jacob and Anna Catharina Hohl (1746-1760). Johann Peter's wife is pretty obviously Anna Elisabetha Krether. I'm less sure that Johann Jacob's wife "Anna Catharina" is Catharina Magdalena Osswald. Catharina Magdalena is named as such on both her christening and marriage records.
